Response from the Copycat

My previous entry mentioned one James Ziegler's website, which is a copy of the Lockergnome website. I sent him a message. He replied:

Hi Lee,

You are absolutely right. The HTML design elements appear to be the same as those at Lockergnome.

We are hurrying to redesign the site so that it has the look and feel of our P.A.C.E. website at http://www.pacepros.com, but with the beige/red color scheme of our original Contract Employee's Handbook site that also appears in our current Handbook site.

I guess you get what you pay for, huh?

Thanks for the heads up.

Best,

James R. Ziegler

Well, I want to believe him!

mondegreens

kissthisguy.com - - The Archive of Misheard Lyrics is just plain fun.

This term was coined when an author was referring to hearing "upon the green" as "mondegreen". Malachi McCourt, brother of Frank who wrote Angela's Ashes, titled his autobiography A Monk's Swimmin' which is how the little Irish boys heard the line from the Ave Maria/Hail Mary "blessed are thou amongst women".

Another mondegreen site: Jon Carroll ... mondegreens.
